UPDATE: an earlier version of this puzzle had the black squares in the lower right hand corner in the wrong place. This has been fixed! Sorry about that.
UPDATE #2: Crossword can now be solved digitally, click here! Substack’s interface doesn’t allow me to embed it onto the site itself, so for now I will be providing a link which will allow you to solve my puzzles on a separate website.
Totally unrelated to puzzles: you guys seen Skinamarink yet? Saw it last weekend and, I kid you not, the scariest movie I’ve seen in my entire life. It’s also always exciting to see something that feels so different and unique, as well as to see something as low budget and experimental achieve such unexpected success. So, if that sort of thing seems like something you’d be into, I’d highly recommend it.
Oh boy, have I got a silly little puzzle for you all on this fine Sunday. I don’t want to give away too much, but there is a theme, and while it’s probably not the most groundbreaking or genius theme ever (or even as clever as last week’s themed puzzle), I still had a lot of fun constructing this one and hope you all enjoy solving it. As usual, feel free to print it out, or just save it and complete it on your phone/tablet/computer, etc.
The answer key from last week’s puzzles is below, so if you haven’t completed them and are planning on doing so, stop scrolling now!
Wishing you all a great week!

The circled letters spell out four commonly fractured bones–namely, FIBULA, RADIUS, HUMERUS, and TIBIA–which are then depicted as being broken through the bent placement of the circles. An additional revealer at 34-Down is X-RAYS, which, of course, is a common diagnostic method for fractures.
