Puzzle #6 (February 12th, 2023) "Mirror Images"
Oh boy! So as you can probably tell, this grid is quite a bit larger than the ones I’ve made in the past. That’s because it’s a “Sunday-sized” puzzle. For those of you who may not be aware, the New York Times standard puzzle size for Monday—Saturday is a 15x15 grid, which is the size of the puzzles I’ve constructed in the past. On Sundays, however, the standard grid size is 21x21. Quite a bit larger, and quite a bit more challenging to construct (and solve!). But the extra space creates opportunities for longer answers and oftentimes more unique and intriguing themes. I’m pretty excited to share this one with you all. The theme entries (which I’ve marked with a little asterisk *) may seem strange at first, but I assure you that once you figure out what is happening with the theme, you’ve got a smooth and hopefully very entertaining puzzle ahead of you.

Happy solving!
